You and Your Camera Your camera needs to be as useful to you as a pen is to a poet. Where as a poet creates descriptions you shall create the vision. A photographer is an artist - you are an artist. In many cases it often the image that finds the photographer rather than the other way round. Although being an artist you may not prefer images just to be handed to you on plate. You may want to tweak the settings on your camera to improve on the shot. In this section I shall attempt to explain the basics of photography from a digital prospective. I do apologise to any of you out their wishing to learn the basics of film and dark room procedures but I have yet to learn them myself. Should I get the opportunity then I shall no doubt share that knowledge too. |
